Hi, I’m Donna Davis.
Embracing a healthy life has been my passion for as long as I can remember. My mom bought me my first juicer when I was still in high school. As an elite athlete in my 20s, I was creating my own plant-powered recipes for the road and making green smoothies before they were even called smoothies. I’m not saying I never ate a potato chip or downed a glass of wine, but health and fitness have definitely been at the heart of my journey.
For over two decades, I’ve coached thousands of amazing women from all walks of life: runners and yogis, active moms and CEOs of large corporations. I’ve helped these women integrate plant-powered meals into their busy lives and simplify their exercise routines so they can achieve their fitness goals.
But for most of the women I’ve coached, in the end, it never came down to reaching some perfect weight or going totally vegan or running a marathon (although we’ve run a few, haven’t we ladies?). For most, it came down to a feeling. The feeling that, day by day, inch by inch, chia seed by chia seed, they were getting stronger, smarter and healthier. They were learning how to fuel their bodies, they were developing muscles, they were feeling more energized – they were becoming more POWERFUL!
And as they transformed, I transformed as well, learning from them and adapting my approach to meet their needs. I realized one thing along the way – that when it comes to staying healthy and fit, what works when we’re young, doesn’t necessarily work as we get older. The rules of the game change as our bodies change, our hormones shift and our health alters, sometimes in unexpected ways.
I’m over 50 now and the #1 question I get asked is, “How do you stay so young and have so much energy everyday?”
Over the years I’ve built a wellness plan that has seen amazing results in my life and in the lives of those in my Powerful Woman community. I’ve had to adapt, learn and reinvent what it means to feel powerful, fit and healthy, but what I’ve come to know is that it all comes down to some basics.
- move more and sit less;
- drink more water and less booze;
- eat more fruits and veggies and less crap;
- and choose a compassionate diet that supports all living things and our planet
I believe these basics, when practiced daily, can powerfully move anyone towards health and wellness, inside and out.

As a plant-powered culinary and nutrition expert, a pioneer in the yoga and fitness industry, an entrepreneur, life coach and television host, I have spent my life helping to transform the health of other women.
