Description

This is the perfect smoothie to transition from the lighter tastes of summer to more comforting flavours of the fall season. It is rich, satisfying and loaded with nutrients to keep you full all morning long or refuel post-workout. The soy milk and hemp seed pack this smoothie with protein and the avocado adds healthy plant fats.

You can use organic canned pumpkin puree, or cook up your own pumpkin by steaming or roasting; paired with a frozen banana, the richness of avocado and hemp and delicious earthy quality of molasses, this will become your new favourite.

  • 1 cup unsweetened, organic soy milk
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 dates (pitted)
  • 1 banana (frozen)
  • 1 tablespoon blackstrap molasses
  • 3 tablespoons hemp seed
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 avocado

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
